hearts of cranes.

Hearts of Cranes is a remote performance piece combining traditional immersive and participatory theatrical strategies with film inspired practices and structures to create a fully interactive, live, digital experience.

"Empathetic, therapeutic, and most importantly, freeing." -Immersed

"A meditative performance perfect for quieting the anxieties of our trying times." -New Show New York

Created by You&I, and featuring co-creator Manatsu Tanaka, the piece uses the traditional Japanese practice of origami to guide a single audience participant through a process of reflection and active intention based meditation. Hearts of Cranes is a uniquely intimate experience and incorporates elements of movement, music, and magic.
